Epcot Forever is a jukebox musical for fans of classic EPCOT, with music clips representing the park’s attractions from the years 1982 – 2005. Like most Disney nighttime shows, the soundtrack is combined with fireworks and other visual effects, all staged on or above EPCOT’s World Showcase lagoon.
On September 29, 2021, we said goodbye to Happily Ever After as the show officially retired to make way for the brand-new nighttime spectacular called Disney Enchantment, which just debuted to Guests yesterday, October 1, for Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

EPCOT Forever is closing permanently on September 28, 2021 and Happily Ever After is closing September 29, 2021. Recently Disney announced 2 new fireworks shows coming to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, ‘Disney Enchantment’ and ‘Disney Harmonious.
Guests can expect nightly shows of “Happily Ever After” at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and “EPCOT Forever” at EPCOT. Guests have started coming back in larger numbers and health restrictions have eased making it possible to have nighttime spectaculars once again.
Boardwalk. If you go toward the villas side of the Disney Boardwalk, you’ll be able to see ”IllumiNations” at Epcot and “Wishes” at Magic Kingdom.

After a year of New Year’s Eve celebrations canceled in 2021, we’re thrilled to see fireworks returning. If visiting the beloved Magic Kingdom Park on December 31, 2021, or January 1, 2022, you’ll have a chance to watch not only one but TWO, fireworks spectaculars.
YAY! If you’re hoping to catch the very last show of EPCOT Forever before Harmonious takes over, head to EPCOT tonight (September 28th) to catch the performance at 9PM ET. And remember that while Harmonious will officially debut on October 1st, you can catch it in EPCOT starting tomorrow, September 29th!
Even if you don’t get a spot on the railing, you can see most of the show because you are slightly elevated. When the fireworks are over, head back to the boardwalk and you beat all the crowds heading back to the EPCOT Parking lot/Monorail. Grab a snack on the Boardwalk.
