|King George III||Rory O’Malley|
|John Laurens & Philip Hamilton||Rubén J. Carbajal|
|Peggy Schuyler & Maria Reynolds||Amber Iman|
The original stage production of Hamilton has a running time of 2 hours and 50 minutes, but this includes the 15-minute interval at the end of Act 1. The film on Disney Plus has reduced this to a one-minute countdown to the second act, so the overall running time of the film is around 2 hours and 35 minutes.
Based on this, Hamilton tickets are expensive because there are a lot of people who want to see it. As a result, the demand curve for Hamilton tickets is further to the right than the demand curve for something less in-demand, thus making for higher prices.
“Hamilton” will reopen at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Sept. 14, with regular performances scheduled through June 2022.
Hamilton is fantastic. It’s an amazingly written and superbly performed musical that actually makes history interesting for a lot of young people like myself. … Hamilton is worth all the hype. It makes me want to watch more plays and musicals and really start keeping up with the work of Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Miranda made his directorial film debut with the film adaptation Tick, Tick…Boom! (2021). He also lent his voice to the animated film Vivo, released in 2021. Miranda’s television work includes recurring roles on The Electric Company (2009–2010) and His Dark Materials (2019).
Miranda was born to parents of Puerto Rican origin and grew up in a Hispanic neighbourhood in northern Manhattan. His father was a political consultant to several New York City mayors, and his mother was a psychologist.
And it’s uniquely an immigrant story and it’s uniquely a story about writers,” he said. Even so, he added that the show was “no overnight success” as it took him about seven years to write it.
Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jordan Fisher sing a duet on “You’re Welcome”, which plays over the end credits. The song as performed by Dwayne Johnson appears in the film.
That said, there is confirmation that each main cast member made at least $3,400 a week for their actors’ salaries (and even more after a crucial deal was signed.) According to The New York Times, Broadway actors make a union-mandated minimum of $1,900 a week, which would amount to $116,300 a year.
After beginning as a song delivered at the White House in 2009, the Tony-, Pulitzer-, and Olivier-winning Hamilton now celebrates six years on Broadway.

Originally Answered: Is it worth seeing Hamilton without the original cast? Oh yes! The new casts are all amazing and bring something new to the characters. They’re not the original cast, but they certainly do the original cast justice.
“Satisfied” is the eleventh song from Act 1 of the musical Hamilton, based on the life of Alexander Hamilton, which premiered on Broadway in 2015. Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote both the music and lyrics to the song.
The final song of Act 1 is, fittingly enough, “Non-Stop”, and while you don’t get 15 minutes as you would in the theater, Disney+ has factored this in: at the end of the song is an intermission countdown of one minute.
Is Hamilton Appropriate for Kids Under 13? If your kids have listened to the soundtrack, then you know what to expect. I’d say Hamilton is ok for kids ages 12 and up.
Ham4Ham, stylized with social media tag #Ham4Ham Lottery, was originally a daily lottery in which entrants could win front-row seats to the Broadway production of Hamilton. To start off and to promote the lottery, various members of Hamilton would put on performance outside The Richard Rodgers Theater.
The seats are often in the middle of the Center Orchestra, and provide a clear, unobstructed view of the stage. There are usually only four seats offered as House Seats per show, making them highly desirable, though they are always priced around $177.

It’s official: Broadway is coming back. The 41 storied theaters from Midtown to Lincoln Center have been shuttered since March due to the coronavirus pandemic. That’s 525,600 minutes and some change — but, barring unforeseen problems, they will reopen at full, glorious capacity starting Sept. 14.
Several historians have criticized the musical for its whitewashing of the main character. In 2016, Annette Gordon-Reed (a professor of history at Harvard University) tallied up some of the things the musical got wrong — namely, Hamilton’s depiction as an immigrant, an abolitionist, and an egalitarian.
