Wait times for this attraction tend to be very long, but the good news is the entire queue is located indoors! The Soarin’ experience lasts about 10 minutes including the pre-show, but the queue is very long and can take 20 to 25 minutes even with a FastPass+. You must be at least 40 inches (102 cm) tall to ride.

The scenes you see on Soarin’ Over California were actually kind of staged! Via DisneyFanatic.com, Disney “planted” surfers, snowboarders and more in the scenes. Sometimes these people had to wait hours to get the perfect shot.
Happily Ever After Ending September 29th
EPCOT Forever is closing permanently on September 28, 2021 and Happily Ever After is closing September 29, 2021. Recently Disney announced 2 new fireworks shows coming to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, ‘Disney Enchantment’ and ‘Disney Harmonious.
The fan-favorite attraction, Splash Mountain, located in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will temporarily close next year. According to the My Disney Experience app, Splash Mountain will close on January 10, 2022 for a month-long refurbishment. It is expected to reopen on February 11, 2022.
All Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park are now open!
As this is a flight simulator, the ride vehicle moves with the film and succeeds in making guests feel as if they’re flying! It’s not a thrill ride, but it’s certainly an exhilarating one.
The attraction, which lasts about 4 minutes and 57 seconds, takes 87 guests at a time on a simulation hang glider tour of California, flying over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Redwood Creek in Humboldt County, Napa Valley, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park (including Yosemite Falls and Half Dome), …
The updated attractions opened on June 17, 2016 at Disney California Adventure and Epcot, along with a third theater for the latter location.
Official numbers have never been released but it is estimated that Soarin’ cost between 100 to 125 million dollars.

Row number 1 ends up being the top row and gives the best view possible. Your view isn’t obstructed by dangling feet from the other guests and you get a great view of the screen. Plus you get the most “thrill” of the whoosh up at the beginning.
Yes this. I have always worn my glasses on Soarin and any ride. If there is a 3D ride I just put them on top of my glasses.
Soarin’ over California had a few bits of CGI (Michael Eisner hitting the golf ball), but Soarin’ Around the World used some heavy CG in a few scenes.
Soarin’ utilizes the IMAX projection system, with high-speed, high definition projectors that operate at twice the speed of a normal motion picture film. Film crews “planted” fishermen, surfers, and snowboarders in the scenes to make them more dynamic.

Living with the Land (Epcot)
Living with the Land takes you on a gentle boat ride through the greenhouse of Epcot’s The Land Pavilion. … This boat ride is maybe one of the most peaceful rides in Disney World, with just about zero chances of getting wet.
Living and employment
As no one living in EPCOT would own their own land or home, residents would have no municipal voting rights (bond issues, etc.). Walt Disney wanted to exercise this control only to be able to change technology in homes easily.
