The iconic building sits on a UNESCO World Heritage site. In a statement, UK Parliament authorities said the conservation project was due to be completed by the second quarter of 2022.
Although the public got to see one of its faces in late November, the complete renovated structure will be ready for public viewing by December 31.

Over the years, the tower has had many names, although the one that is widely used now is the Elizabeth Tower. The tower stands at the north end of the Houses of Parliament, and it was given the name in 2012 in honour of the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
