You can hike the Waikoko Forest Management Road (which is approximately 12.8 kilometers/8 miles long) to walk right to the spot where Jurassic Park was almost opened to the world.

Manawaiopuna Falls is one of the Garden Isle’s most notable waterfalls made famous in one of the opening scenes of the 1993 blockbuster film, “Jurassic Park.” The natural wonder, commonly referred to as “Jurassic Falls,” is a breathtaking sight to behold.
One of the greatest films of the director Steven Spielberg is also a Dominican movie. It was inside the Amber Museum where Jurassic Park was filmed and, specifically, where the initial scene was shot in which the mosquito is shown, one of the symbols of the film, which can still be found in the museum.
If you are a fan of Jurassic Park or Lost among other movies, you should take this tour. The scenery is beautiful and it is hard to accept this is a working farm. Our guide and driver was knowledgeable and informative giving us ample picture opportunity time. The bus tour is “dusty” but the scenery is well worth it.
You can visit the Kualoa Ranch without taking one of their tours. You won’t see much other than their restaurant and gift shop though. There is also a nice beach park across the street from the ranch.

Isla Nublar was totally wiped out during the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. A great many of the dinosaurs that were still alive on the island died in epic and tragic fashion.
As Ian Malcolm points out, the dinosaurs should have succumbed to the Lysine Contingency and died after about 6 or 7 days, but Hammond reveals that the animals are actually thriving on the island.
The falls stand at 400-feet, and are virtually untouched by civilisation. If it’s adventure that you’re looking for, hikes through the muddy and wet, rich jungle vegetation are carried out by the Robinson family – you will need to set aside at least 4 to 6 hours for the hike, and be sure to bring plenty of water!
