Volcano Bay opens at 10 a.m. Please note the hours might be different from pre-pandemic times. The park used to open at 8 a.m. but the current calendar shows hours of 10 a.m.-5 p.m. through April and 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. through May. Check before you go.
From there you can hop on the shuttle, which will transport you to Volcano Bay. For those who are staying at a Universal Orlando hotel you will have a bit of an easier time getting to Volcano Bay, especially if you are booked at Cabana Bay.

The drop tube slides at the top of Krakatau have a 300lb weight. You will be weighed and not allowed to ride the drop tube slides if you exceed 300 lbs.
