In reality, filming of Fast & Furious 9 took place on location in London, Edinburgh in Scotland, Thailand, Tbilisi in Georgia, Los Angeles, and Hatfield in Hertfordshire, along with Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
Toretto House – Echo Park
In real life, the house is a four-unit, multi-family dwelling. The residence’s detached garage, where Dom keeps his 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, was demolished at some point after the filming of The Fast and the Furious and had to be rebuilt for Fast & Furious (2009).
In Diesel’s November Instagram post, he appealed to The Rock, calling him “little brother” and urged him to return to the franchise. “The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house,” he wrote in part.
The United States has over 700 military facilities outside its borders, while Russia has less than 20 such facilities. Russia’s facilities may be divided into three types: legacy Soviet facilities, new facilities in former Soviet states, and facilities being used for Russian military operations in the Middle East.

In the final moments of F9, the entire family comes together for a barbeque. Just before Dom (Vin Diesel) says a prayer for the meal, he pauses to note, “There’s still an empty chair.” That empty chair, of course, belongs to Brian O’Connor, the character the late Paul Walker made world famous.
Most filming was done at Shepperton Studios and Leavesden Studios. In October, filming moved to Glasgow, Scotland, to recreate London. Filming also took place in late 2018 at Eggborough power station in North Yorkshire, and in Farnborough, Hampshire.
In F9 we learn that it wasn’t Takaski who killed Han in Tokyo Drift, nor was it Deckard Shaw in Fast and Furious 6 and Furious 7 because Han isn’t actually dead. … While at the compound, the crew learn that Han is actually alive and was working with Mr. Nobody since they saw him last.
Han was then presumed dead in 2015’s Furious 7 and 2017’s The Fate of the Furious, but this year’s F9 ret-cons the events of Tokyo Drift for a second time, revealing that Han in fact survived the explosion… with the help of a recurring character in the Fast franchise, intelligence operative Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell).
Gisele didn’t return from the dead in F9, but the movie did manage to expand her story. With a Fast and Furious 6 flashback, Gal Gadot had a Gisele cameo thanks to the movie reusing footage.
